AGB

This English version is provided for information only. The German version (AGB) is legally binding.

Picaroon UG (haftungsbeschränkt) · As of October 2026

§ 1 Scope, contracting party

(1) These General Terms and Conditions (“Terms”, also “Session Terms”) apply to all contracts for sessions and consultations (Mediumship Reading, Psychic Reading, Aura Reading, Ancestral Work) between

(the “Provider”) and its customers (“you”).

(2) A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly outside their trade, business or profession. A business is a natural or legal person acting in the exercise of their trade, business or profession.

(3) Differing, conflicting or supplementary terms do not become part of the contract unless the Provider expressly agrees to them in text form.

§ 2 Services and scope

(1) The subject of the contract is mediumistic and spiritual guidance or counselling in the form of individual sessions, usually 90 minutes long, in person in Munich or online by video call, based on the mediumistic perception of the Provider’s managing director. The nature and scope of each service result from the service description on the website and the booking confirmation.

(2) The contract is a contract for services. The Provider owes the careful performance of the session, not a particular result, in particular not that contact with a specific deceased person is established, that a particular message is received or that a particular personal development occurs.

(3) No medical treatment, no crisis intervention. The Provider’s services are not medical care, not medical or psychotherapeutic services and not a substitute for medical, naturopathic or psychotherapeutic treatment. No diagnoses are made, no illnesses or complaints are treated, alleviated or cured and no promises of healing are given. If medical or psychological terms are used in conversation, this serves communication only. Ongoing treatment should neither be interrupted nor discontinued, and necessary treatment should not be postponed or omitted. A mediumistic service does not replace medical, psychological or therapeutic treatment and cannot provide crisis intervention. If you are in an acute crisis or have thoughts of taking your own life, please contact the emergency services immediately (112 in Germany and the EU), the medical on-call service in Germany (116 117) or the German crisis line “Telefonseelsorge” (free, 24 hours, in German: 0800 111 0 111 or 0800 111 0 222).

(4) The Provider does not provide legal, tax or investment advice and makes no binding statements about future events.

(5) The perceptions and messages conveyed in a session reflect the subjective mediumistic perception of the managing director. No guarantee can be given for their accuracy, completeness or verifiability. You decide on your own responsibility what to do with them.

§ 3 Requirements for participation

(1) The services are intended exclusively for persons who are at least 18 years old. By booking, you confirm that you meet the minimum age.

(2) Participation requires that you feel mentally stable and are not in an acute mental health crisis or in acute psychiatric or psychotherapeutic treatment. By booking, you confirm that this applies to you to the best of your knowledge. The session is not crisis intervention and not a substitute for medical, psychological or therapeutic treatment (§ 2 para. 3). If you are unsure, please seek medical or psychotherapeutic advice before booking. The Provider may decline or end a session if there are indications that this requirement is not met; in that case, the fee for services not rendered will be refunded.

(3) You are responsible for your own decisions and for your life and health.

§ 4 Conclusion of contract

(1) The presentation of services and appointments in the booking system is not a binding offer but an invitation to you to make an offer. By clicking the button “Book appointment (binding)” you submit a binding offer to enter into a contract for the chosen appointment. The contract is concluded when the Provider confirms your booking by email (booking confirmation).

(2) Before submitting, you can review your details in the booking form and correct them using “Back” or “Change appointment”.

(3) Contract text: You can access, save and print these Terms at any time at mediale-kommunikation.de/en/terms. The booking confirmation contains a link to these Terms. The Provider stores the booking data and will provide it to you in text form on request.

(4) The contract language is German. This English translation is for information only; the German version prevails.

§ 5 Procedure, online appointments

(1) Online sessions take place by video call (Google Meet). You need a device with a working camera and microphone and a stable internet connection. You will receive the access link in the booking confirmation or the reminder. A short technical test before the session is recommended.

(2) If you do not attend an online session, or if no connection is established within 10 minutes of the agreed start for reasons within your sphere, the room will be closed. The session is then deemed not attended (§ 7 para. 3). Disruptions within the sphere of the Provider or the platform are not at your expense: in that case, a replacement appointment will be arranged or – at your choice – the fee will be refunded.

(3) The agreed session time runs from the agreed start; if you are late, the session is shortened accordingly without any reduction in the fee.

(4) Recordings of the session (audio, video, transcript) are not permitted without the prior express consent of the other party.

§ 6 Prices, payment

(1) The prices stated on the website at the time of booking apply. All prices are final prices including statutory VAT.

(2) Payment methods: Online appointments are paid by invoice (bank transfer). For in-person appointments you can pay in cash on site or by bank transfer in advance. You will receive the invoice as a PDF by email. The invoice amount must be transferred by the due date stated on the invoice, quoting the invoice number, to the account stated there. Cash payment is due on the day of the session before it begins.

(3) For timely payment, the date on which the payment is received applies.

(4) If a consumer falls into arrears with payment, the statutory provisions (default interest) apply. Reminder costs are charged only in the amount actually incurred; the first payment reminder is free of charge.

§ 7 Cancellation, rescheduling, no-show

(1) You can cancel or reschedule an appointment free of charge up to 3 days (72 hours) before the agreed start. Cancellation must be made in text form (email to ); receipt is decisive.

(2) In case of later cancellation or no-show, the Provider’s claim to the agreed fee remains (§ 615 German Civil Code). The Provider must credit saved expenses and anything earned or maliciously not earned through alternative use of her working time. You may prove that the Provider suffered no loss or a substantially lower loss. Payments already made will be offset accordingly.

(3) A session that could not take place under § 5 para. 2 because you did not attend or the connection could not be established for reasons within your sphere is also deemed not attended.

(4) Cancellation by the Provider: The Provider may cancel or reschedule an appointment for good cause (e.g. illness, force majeure, technical obstacles). You will receive a replacement appointment or, if you cannot attend it, a full refund of amounts already paid. Further claims are governed by § 9.

§ 8 Goodwill refund if no contact is established

The Provider aims for every session to feel right for you. If, in your experience, no viable contact is established, she will refund the fee paid as a goodwill gesture on request. There is no legal entitlement to this. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.

§ 9 Liability

(1) The Provider is liable without limitation
a) in cases of intent and gross negligence,
b) for damage resulting from injury to life, body or health,
c) under the German Product Liability Act and
d) to the extent she has given a guarantee.

(2) In case of slightly negligent breach of essential contractual obligations (obligations whose fulfilment is necessary for the proper performance of the contract and on which you may regularly rely), liability is limited to the typical, foreseeable damage. Otherwise, liability for slight negligence is excluded.

(3) The Provider is not liable for decisions you make on the basis of the session. This remains your responsibility (§ 2 para. 5, § 3 para. 3). The above limitations of liability do not apply to the extent that a breach of duty by the Provider falls under para. 1.

(4) The limitations of liability also apply in favour of the Provider’s legal representatives, employees and vicarious agents.

§ 10 Confidentiality, documentation

(1) The Provider treats the content of the sessions and your information as confidential.

(2) The Provider may make and store notes about you and the content of the conversation to prepare and document sessions and for follow-up appointments; photos or sketches you send her may be filed for this purpose. Details on the processing of your data, retention periods and your rights can be found in the Privacy Policy.

§ 11 Right of withdrawal for consumers

If you are a consumer and have concluded the contract at a distance (online booking), you have a statutory right of withdrawal. For details, see the withdrawal information below.

§ 12 Data protection

Information on the processing of personal data can be found in the Privacy Policy.

§ 13 Dispute resolution

The Provider is neither willing nor obliged to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.

§ 14 Final provisions

(1) The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. For consumers, this choice of law applies only to the extent that it does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory provisions of the law of the country in which you have your habitual residence.

(2) If the customer is a merchant, a legal entity under public law or a special fund under public law, the place of jurisdiction is Munich. For consumers, the statutory places of jurisdiction apply.

(3) Should individual provisions of these Terms be or become invalid in whole or in part, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected. The statutory provision replaces the invalid provision.

Information on the right of withdrawal

Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day of conclusion of the contract.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Picaroon UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Schellingstraße 94, 80798 Munich, Germany, email: ) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or an email). You may use the model withdrawal form below, but this is not mandatory.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient that you send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.

If you requested that the services begin during the withdrawal period, you shall pay us an amount that is in proportion to what has been provided until you have communicated to us your withdrawal from this contract, compared with the full coverage of the contract.

Note on the expiry of the right of withdrawal: The right of withdrawal expires in the case of a contract for services once we have fully performed the service, provided that performance began only after you gave your express consent and at the same time acknowledged that you will lose your right of withdrawal once the contract has been fully performed by us.
